After driving 1,500 miles while wearing Google Glass, Chris Barrett believes the wearable computer will save lives.
“I started realizing I’m not touching my phone as much,” the South Jersey PR specialist told VentureBeat. “Like many, I had a bad habit of picking it up at a red light, or even when driving. Now, as I’ve been wearing Glass, I put my phone down and concentrate on driving.”
But, as VentureBeat points out, not everyone agrees. Officials in the U.K. are trying to ban Google Glass from the driver’s seat of a car.
