Mickey DeLorenzo became semi-Internet famous in 2007 when he lost nine pounds using Wii Sports as his main workout routine.
Now, the former director of interactive development at Callowhill communications agency ODM Group has moved behind the screen.
His first iOS game, Hungry Lizards, launched last month. It just passed the 1,000 user mark, DeLorenzo said.

DeLorenzo, 32, taught himself how to build apps as a way to cope with the death of his son. Along with his friend Dave Trawin, DeLorenzo built Hungry Lizards, which DeLorenzo said pays homage to the Atari game “Frogs and Flies.”
A longtime Philadelphian, DeLorenzo moved to South Jersey last year. He does contract work for local interactive agencies like Byrd Alley and Faculty Creative.
