Can a couple of Angry Birds turn around the disappointing Philadelphia Eagles?

Maybe not, but Eagles’ management hopes the hit game can at least get the team some more fans. Angry Birds parent company Rovio announced last week a partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, its first with a professional sports team. In the fall, look out for an Eagles-themed version of Angry Birds and Angry Birds-themed Jumbotron sequences in the Linc.

Eagles senior vice president of business Ari Roitman told the Wall Street Journal that Angry Birds fans’ are “coming into the prime years for loyalty” and that this partnership is trying to capitalize on that.

Now if we could just get some Angry Eagles to win some playoff games.
