Young startups have until midnight Friday to send in applications for the Catalyst NYC program organized by the Future Labs at NYU.

The program will select six seed or pre-seed companies, which will be awarded free office space for two cofounders for six months, mentorship and network connections from Catalyst NYC’s board of advisors, use of NYU Tandon’s facilities (including its 10,000 square foot makerspace) and free legal advice.

The program also offers startups access to the graduating labor pool from NYU Tandon’s seniors. Catalyst NYC does not offer any funding and does not ask for any equity.

Startups in the fields of artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, cloud computing and data analytics are encouraged to apply.

Though Catalyst NYC is a new program, plenty of impressive companies have gone through the Future Labs various other programs in the past, including Vettery, United Wind and CB Insights.
