The prominent incubator and coworking space partnered with Ipsos to host a patient experience pitch competition for startups working to improve healthcare. The pair announced this partnership back in June.
“Ipsos is a leader in understanding patient experience. 1776 is where top entrepreneurs come to launch and scale their companies,” Thomas Sutton, VP of public affairs at Ipsos, told Technical.ly. “This winning combination teamed together to bring some innovation solutions to market.”
A crowd of 125 people gathered to hear five startups’ pitches on Thursday.
Founded in 2016 and named to Technical.ly Philly’s 2018 RealLIST Startups, Keriton created a feeding management, lactation analytics and patient engagement platform for mothers and neonatal intensive care unit nurses. The cloud-based hospital solution company curates this platform within two apps, Kare Mom and Kare Nurse.
“We’ve prevented 367 errors from taking place where our system has caught expired milk from accidentally being fed to newborns,” CEO Rich Mager shared during his pitch last night.
With this win, Keriton will work directly with Ipsos’ Connected Healthcare partner HP to pilot its platform, receive product feedback and get customer introductions, and will be highlighted at high-profile health conferences across the U.S.
