ePlus has acquired some assets and liabilities from ABS Technology

Herndon, Virginia-based consulting tech solutions provider ePlus announced at the end of August that it had acquired certain assets and liabilities from Innovative Technology Systems & Solutions, Inc. (ABS Technology). The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the deal officially closed on Aug. 23.

ABS Technology is an IT solutions provider headquartered in Virginia Beach. Launched in 1990, this acquisition enhances ePlus’s portfolio of solutions to include ABS Technology’s expertise in managed services, networking, collaboration and security solutions.

“For almost five decades, ABS Technology has earned an excellent reputation and deep customer relationships, which are in alignment with ePlus’ culture and customer-centric approach,” said Hunter Dorroh, CEO of ABS Technology, in a press release. “Working together, we will continue to help organizations architect, design, deploy, and manage the leading IT solutions required to help them succeed now and in the future.”

DXC Technology expands into Norway with Syscom acquisition

Tysons-based IT company DXC Technology has acquired Norway-based Syscom, an independent provider of service management and security consulting and solutions. This acquisition deal expands DXC Technology’s security operations and service management capabilities to the Scandinavian country.

This is the third deal DXC Technology has recently landed in that region, following its acquisitions of Logicalis SMC in the Netherlands and BusinessNow in Denmark.

“The addition represents another significant investment for DXC in the Nordics,” said Joergen Jakobsen, VP of DXC Technology in Northern Europe, in a statement. “In Syscom, DXC gains a strong, skilled workforce and a solid customer base — which will further extend DXC’s position as a leading IT-service provider in the Nordics.”

Deltek completes acquisition of Ohio-based ComputerEase

Herndon, Virginia-based Deltek, a global provider of software and solutions for project-based businesses, announced that it has completed its acquisition of Ohio-based ComputerEase.

Launched in 1983, ComputerEase creates construction accounting, project management and field management software for contractors. This transaction is expected to close this quarter, with Deltek acquiring all assets of ComputerEase, and conditioned upon the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, a press release states.

“ComputerEase’s knowledge and strength in the Construction industry is the perfect complement to Deltek’s A&E industry solutions,” said Mike Corkery, president and CEO at Deltek, in a statement. “With ComputerEase now a part of Deltek, we offer the most complete solutions for architects, engineers and construction firms.”

LawIQ acquires Lens on Washington

D.C.-based LawIQ, a provider of regulatory and legal data analytics and intelligence services, has acquired another District-based company, Lens on Washington, a provider of liquids pipeline rate and tariff data.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but this acquisition will expand LawIQ’s customer base into the oil pipeline and exploration and production market, with a natural gas and liquefied natural gas analytics platform, a press release states.

“We are excited to bring additional value to new and existing customers with this one-of-a-kind rate and tariff data product, which will round out our offering of cloud-based analytics software-as-a-service, curated data-driven research, and custom advisory services,” said Chip Moldenhauer, LawIQ’s CEO, in a statement.

ManTech acquires H2M Group

Herndon, Virginia-based ManTech has closed on its acquisition deal of Manassas, Virginia-based H2M Group, provider of intelligence analysis services and solutions to primarily the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

With over 50 years in business, ManTech provides mission-focused tech solutions and services for U.S. defense, intelligence community and federal civilian agencies. Launched in 2014, H2M Group’s 180-person team will join ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group.

“The addition will help us deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that transform the geospatial industry, intelligence collection and analysis, and business operations that drive enhanced mission execution for our customers,” said Kevin Phillips, ManTech president and CEO, in a statement.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a press release states that ManTech funded the deal from cash on hand and its existing line of credit.
