Arlington, Va.-based Phone2Action has expanded its advocacy platform with a new product called Convo.
The new interactive and customizable template enables organizations to guide their supporters through the process of writing letters to lawmakers and other decisionmakers, a press release states.
@Phone2Action’s newest campaign template, #Convo, lets your advocates personalize communications with lawmakers and officials through conversation, not forms. #advocacy #dctech https://t.co/bqZoXgnaLS

Convo provides a guided writing tool with fill-in-the-blank sentences to construct personalized letters that include all the necessary information to grab lawmakers and decision-makers’ attention. Convo still gives users the freedom to add their own unique comments outside of the guided information.
“We have heard time and time again from Hill staffers and elected officials that personal letters from constituents carry more weight than generic, static messages,” Phone2Action CEO Jeb Ory said in a statement. “With Convo we have taken the work out of composing genuine, unique messages and as a result, anticipate not only an increase in messages sent but also a greater impact for organizations engaged in this type of advocacy.”
Launched in 2013, the advocacy software company curates a mobile app so public affairs groups can interact with their followers when it comes to communicating with lawmakers on political matters. This platform expansion comes a few weeks after Phone2Action secured a strategic growth investment from Frontier Capital, a Charlotte, N.C.-based growth equity firm that invests in B2B software companies.
