The upcoming Know Identity Conference will discuss the challenges of maintaining the privacy, security and user control that will shape the future of digital identities. The two day conference, which will be held from March 26-28 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is also offering $25,000 as the main prize of its 24 hour-hackathon.

The hackathon is calling for teams to solve a critical identity challenge in the realms of health and fitness, finance and shopping, wearables, social and entertainment.

“Imagine a world where you can create apps, insights and personalized experiences with perfect data about a person – with privacy, security and user control,” reads the event announcement. “We are inviting developers, hackers, creatives, geeks and anyone else who wants to come and build cool apps, insights and personalized experiences on the digi.me Consent Access private sharing platform… Teams will be building apps using the digi.me Consent Access SDK available on iOS (Swift) and Android (Java) and we will have a partner (Onymos) with a hybrid platform (Fabric) that will allow JavaScript developers to create native apps using the skill-set they already have.”

The conference will also feature a startup pitch competition with a $10,000 grand prize.
