Trying to get your company into the federal marketplace? The GovCon Incubator is designed to teach you the ropes.

The incubator is run through OST Global Solutions, which touts securing over $20 billion in government contracts since the company was founded in 2005.

“You used to be able to write a proposal, take your time and essentially compete with other small businesses, who didn’t know what they were doing most of the time. It was easier to win,” OST CEO Olessia Smotrova told Technical.ly DC. “You have to make it easy for the government to contract with you. Otherwise it’s like an impenetrable fortress to work with.”

Small business prime contracts have declined 25 percent since 2010, according to a study conducted by market research firm Deltek

The incubator costs between $275 a month to participate, or up to $695 a month with coworking at OST Global. It includes 18 courses on contract procurement and business development.
