The Founder Institute, the Silicon Valley-based startup launch program with a mission to “globalize Silicon Valley” is considering coming to the District.
Before launching this program, though, Founder Institute is trying to assess interest.
“Like any good startup testing an MVP, the Founder Institute tests demand in a market before devoting its full resources towards that market,” the page about a possible D.C. program declares.
What is the Founder Institute, exactly? It’s part accelerator part startup school, intent on supporting people who “are talented and motivated to do the work required to build an enduring tech or tech-enabled company.” The Founder Institute runs programs all over the world, from the Ivory Coast to Vietnam.
Learn more about what a D.C. program would look like, and go ahead and express any interest you may have.
