Need a tech intern? ITWorks is accepting applications

Tech Impact has been training young adults in its free ITWorks accelerator in Wilmington for six years now, and it has the success stories to prove that it produces high-quality technologists — many of whom had found the expenses of college to be out of their reach.

One aspect of the ITWorks program (which culminates in a Cisco IT Essentials certificate and CompTIA) is internships, where the program works with local companies to give students the opportunity to gain real-world work experience before entering the workforce full-time. It’s a big deal that can be mutually beneficial to both the intern and the company.

So, if you could use some extra help with tech duties around the office and can commit to a minimum of five weeks (9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday) beginning on Nov. 19, click here to apply for an ITWorks intern.

Preference is given to paid internships. If you’re a good match, you can extend the internship, contract hire or hire them outright upon graduation in December 2018.
