15-year-old Jacqueline Means to host another Girls Empowerment STEM Event

Jacqueline Means, aka STEM Queen and founder of the Wilmington Urban Chess Initiative, hosted her first Girls Empowerment STEM Event in August, and she’ll be following it up with a second event for girls ages 7 to 13 on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the William G. Turner Building in Wilmington.
The event will include STEM experiments, chess lessons, a live performance by Wilmington educational hip-hop duo Lyrical Math, a cyberbullying talk and lunch — and it’s all free.
