While most of this organization’s meetups are for networking, this one in particular is meant to focus on the bigger picture. The Technology Forum of Delaware has a big question for you: “Where are we going?” The event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at World Cafe Live at the Queen at 5:30 p.m.
The event is taking place during happy hour after Tech2gether, during Delaware Innovation Week 2016.

Tech Forum board member Jennifer Kmiec says that the organization has made a “frank assessment of the most important factors driving Delaware’s tech community.” The effort was reflected in a 2015 report, which the Delaware Business Times characterized as “good news/bad news.” According to next month’s event listing, the group is looking to update the report:
This year, we plan an interactive, collaborative process to collect and share member perspectives to update the report on Talent, Collaboration & Support, Funding, and Reputation. This will be the most engaging and insightful experience of the year. Live polling, instant reporting, real-time voting, interactive debates using an innovative method of rapid collaboration and data gathering.
“It’s really a snapshot of where the technology community is headed in Delaware,” Kmiec said. “We’re taking the 2015 report and updating according to the four metrics.”
The event costs $40 for non-members and $25 for members.
