Cybersecurity has been an area of focus for Delaware since Gov. Jack Markell announced plans to develop a cybersecurity workforce. Sen. Tom Carper has even preached the concept of “cyber hygiene” over the past few months.
This fall, the state’s Department of Technology and Information along with Greater Wilmington Cyber Security Group and Small Business Development Center will be hosting the seventh-annual Secure Delaware Workshop at Dover Downs Hotel & Conference Center.
While it’s free, registration is required. The Sept. 7 event will take place bright and early at 8:15 a.m.
