It’s that time of year again!
Philly Tech Week 2016 presented by Comcast planning is in full effect. Events are being added to the calendar daily and some incredible partnerships have been locked.
We strive to be inclusive and help smaller organizations (or those that are specifically mission-driven) have a presence at Philly Tech Week. Thus, we’re again offering a hand to help cover event costs — including snacks, a venue rental, supplies, etc.
We’re giving grants to event organizers that can do the most good with the least money; those that fit the community and impact the positive spirit of #PTW16.
This year, we’ll be offering 5-10 microgrants ranging from $50-$300 to innovative groups embodying one or more of Tech Week’s six tracks.

The application deadline is March 4.
Also: Don’t miss the #PTW16 Event Organizer Slack Chat happening tomorrow, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m.
Make sure to join the Technical.ly Slack and enter the #philly channel for the hourlong convo. Similar to the Twitter Chat in January, this will be an opportunity to get any questions about planning your event answered by the Technical.ly Events Team and other community event organizers. It’s also a chance to collaborate with those interested in planning an event that may be similar to your own.
Haven’t started planning? No worries! This is your chance to get started.
