This month’s Free Lunch Friday, hosted by the Entrepreneurship Club at the University of Delaware will feature Technical.ly Delaware Lead Reporter Holly Quinn (yes, that’s me, I’m writing in the third person). We’ll (er, I’ll) be discussing entrepreneurship and the press — how to pitch a story, what’s considered “newsworthy,” best practices when approaching the press about your startup and what things you should never do (please). This is information you can really use as your startup grows.

This free event, held at the Venture Development Center at UD from 10:30 a.m. to noon, includes a catered lunch courtesy of Horn Entrepreneurship. Seats are limited and available to UD students only. (Not a student? Follow Pitch the Press on Facebook to join me at 1313 Innovation for the bimonthly event where established startups and nonprofits can share news.)
