Prepare yourself for the artificial-intelligence takeover

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is hosting a pre-work panel on the myths and realities of AI. It's on Halloween, so maybe things will get spooky.

Myth: In the future, artificial intelligence will probably drive murderous robots to end us all.

Reality: In the future, AI will process your invoices and plan your investments.

OK, nobody really knows if a robot uprising will happen someday, but what we do know is that AI, in practice, is a lot more practical than it is scary — and it won’t be long before it affects your business.

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is hosting a panel Halloween morning (Oct. 31) from 7:30–9:00 a.m. at the University & Whist Club in Wilmington titled “Is Your Business Ready for Intelligent Automation?”

The event will include an overview from Matthew Peters, executive director of intelligent automation at Computer Aid, Inc., followed by an industry panel discussing the impact AI has had (and will have) on businesses, where we will likely see it next and common misconceptions about AI.

Registration is $45 ($35 for DSCC members).
