The technology behind Legodelphia, a Lego replica of Center City

Levi Buffum, the creator of Legodelphia, is a 3D modeler for design patents.

Levi Buffum has been building a Lego replica of Center City for months. Buffum, 32, of Media, Pa., calls it Legodelphia.

Follow his progress

Buffum is actually a 3D modeler for design patents, he told the Philadelphia City Paper, and he used Lego Digital Designer, Lego’s 3D modeler, to visualize the piece. He also used Google Earth, which shows models of the city’s built environment, to “get an overall look of the city.”
