TheBridge, which started as an email newsletter that looks to, well, bridge the gap between Silicon Valley and policymakers in Washington is now expanding to events that allow career professionals to connect.
The latest offering is a networking event called Cocktails and Careers, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the WeWork space on M street.
Excited to team up with @WeWork for workshops & networking on making a successful career pivot. RSVP: 10/19 in DC: https://t.co/ovSPgBjs12 pic.twitter.com/lSmyqB7w4p

The event will be focused on career transitions. Various experts who have successfully transitioned between careers will speak at the event, and be there to answer questions from attendees. The event will also offer other services, like resume reviews, and recruiters from various companies will attend as well.
TheBridge eventually hopes to be able to host events in San Francisco, Austin and other cities, but for D.C. dwellers, this one works out perfectly.
