Right on the heels of his Friday visit to The Mill, where he spoke one-on-one with community members who run businesses such as WhyFly and Zip Code Wilmington (which is moving into its new space at The Mill in September), Gov. John Carney is keeping the conversation on Delaware innovation and entrepreneurship going with an op-ed in Sunday’s News Journal.
From the article:
Our economy has become more entrepreneurial and small-business driven. Innovative companies demand higher-skilled workers, and we’re competing not just with other states, but with other countries, for jobs and talent.
We must do things differently to ensure that Delaware remains a leading state to do business, and create good-paying jobs.
