Hey ladies: Apply now for the 2017 Vinetta Project Venture Challenge

Start the year off by giving your company a chance to win $20,000.

Let go of that holiday hangover and dust off those goals for the days, week and months ahead — we’re back at it. And if you’re part of a woman-led startup (defined as a startup with at least one female founder), being “back at it” could mean being part of this year’s Vinetta Project Venture Challenge.

For the second year running, The Vinetta Project in D.C. is hosting its signature pitch competition worth $20,000 to the winner, and, this year, four months of free office space at MakeOffices. Once again, the $20,000 cash prize is sponsored by GSP Financial Services.

Once again there will be three semi-final events before the big one — the deadline to apply to pitch in the first semi-final is Feb. 13.

We won’t lie — competition to be part of this challenge will be fierce. But there’s a benefit to just applying, too. All applications are reviewed by The Vinetta Project’s D.C. Venture Committee, which includes members of firms like NEA, K Street Capital, Revolution and more. Also, if you’re not accepted to this first semi-final event, you’re still eligible to apply for the next one (which has a May 8 deadline).

Ready to apply? Get more info on the qualifications here, and apply via Vinetta’s website here.
