Calling all tech founders from the African diaspora — now’s the time to apply to be a part of this year’s Diaspora Demo Day.

A partnership between tiphub, an Africa-focused accelerator, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the demo day “is a bold demonstration of both collaboration and innovation in Africa and the African Diaspora,” according to tiphub executive director Chinedu Enekwe. The demo day will take place in November as part of a three day-long networking and workshop-heavy summit.
Want to pitch your startup to investors, industry experts and fellow entrepreneurs at the summit? Startups should be tech-enabled, under two years old and based in, focused on or with at least one founder who is from Africa or of African descent. Selected startups will get six weeks of mentoring via tibhub’s virtual accelerator before the summit. More information on eligibility, and the application form, can be found here — the deadline to apply is Aug. 31.
