Want to run DC.gov? Here’s your chance

Big D.C. government/tech job alert: The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) wants to hire a new web content administrator. And it looks like quite a job.
According to the job posting, this individual “oversees and manages day-to-day web content publishing, webpage development and maintenance for the award-winning District of Columbia web portal, DC.gov; which includes 125 websites, over 200,000 pages of content, and over 200 online applications.”
Whew.
And if that doesn’t sound like enough, the job description goes on for three more long paragraphs and ends with the expectation that the administrator “performs related duties as assigned.” But of course.
If you’re a web content lover, manager, strategist, developer, etc. who thinks this sounds like a dream job, it does boast a six-figure salary. And you’d undoubtedly play a key role in deciding what D.C. looks like online.
