General Assembly Philly is no more, at least for now.
The Manhattan-based startup education shop with a global footprint that expanded to Philly last fall stopped offering Philly classes as early as February. Its website no longer lists Philly as a location and its Philly program director, Jen Wulf, has been based in New York since the winter.. A General Assembly spokeswoman did not respond to requests for comment.
Elliot Menschik, cofounder of Venturef0rth, where General Assembly took up residence, said that Venturef0rth is still working on some collaborations with General Assembly but that “it will be different than what was originally envisioned as a clone/extension of their NYC programming.”
