Ever dreamed of being there, like really there when John Wall performs his magic for the Wizards?
Now, team players — and possibly the public — will be able to watch 3D-video replays of past games, as if they were in the middle of the action, the Washington Business Journal reports.
Three professional D.C. teams — the NBA’s Wizards, the NHL’s Capitals and the WNBA’s Mystics — will now be training with VR technology supplied by California company STRIVR Labs.
Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which owns the teams, is also planning to make the technology available to select fans at the Verizon Center’s VIP club.
