Delaware Power Moves: Seedcopa + SeedcoDE tap Fulton Bank exec to lead biz dev

As summer bears down, Delaware’s tech, business and education sectors have seen a month of new hires, promotions, pivots and honors. One of the state’s core sectors, finance, has had some especially notable moves, including at Seedcopa + SeedcoDE and WSFS.

Former Fulton Bank Exec named SVP of Seedcopa + SeedcoDE

Seedcopa + SeedcoDE, a lending services company for businesses in Delaware and Southeastern Pennsylvania, announced that Holly Graver, previously senior vice president of business development for the Brandywine Division of Fulton Bank, is its new Senior Vice President, Business Development Officer. Graver is a resident of Millsboro, DE and West Chester, PA.

“If you do business in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware, then you likely already know Holly from her highly respected work enhancing relationships with bankers, accountants, attorneys and additional business leaders while forging deep connections and support for her community,” said Seedcopa + SeedcoDE Managing Director Sherwood Robbins in an announcement on the company’s blog.

Seedcopa + SeedcoDE is a leading provider of SBA 504 loans, the Small Business Administration’s fixed-rate loan program for small- to mid-sized business owners. Those loans complement more conventional commercial loans that Seedcopa + SeedcoDE helps to facilitate for its clients through local banks and credit unions.

WSFS trust company has a new senior VP and CIO

WSFS announced that Jasmine Yu, former managing director and head of global manager research at Bank of New York Mellon Wealth & Investment Management, has been hired as its new senior vice president and chief investment officer with WSFS subsidiary Bryn Mawr Capital Management, based in Greenville.

“I am especially excited about the opportunity to elevate our offerings in alternative investments and private markets with increased sophistication,” said Yu, a mentor for the 30% Club Mission Gender Equity Program, in a press release.

Landmark Science & Engineering adds two new execs

Landmark Science & Engineering is a Newark-headquartered consulting firm specializing in environmental sciences, civil and water resources engineering and land surveying in Delaware and Maryland. It announced the hiring of Kristin Freebery as business development and marketing manager and Matthew Singleton as a civil designer.

Freeberry, who joined Landmark in April with a 25-year history in civil engineering and consulting in Delaware, replaces Janet Pippert, who is retiring from Landmark after 19 years with the firm.

Singleton graduated from the civil engineering technology associate degree program at Delaware Technical Community College and is an American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials scholarship recipient.
