The third Tech Lady Hackathon — an event created by Code for DC co-captain Leah Bannon to get beginners and advance coders working together in an relaxed atmosphere — rolls out this Saturday, Aug. 8.
The yearly event helped birth projects like Buscando, an app that allows caretakers of undocumented children to find the resources they need in their vicinity.
It will also include free training in coding, A/B testing and other useful skills for women in tech.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Impact Hub DC. Oh, and there’s a pre-party too.
