When researchers make a discovery, it can only become a real-world solution if it moves from academics into the commercial space. But turning concepts into products and services is far from easy.
A new program from Horn Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware aims to be a catalyst for that process. Called the Innovation Delaware Fellowship, or InDE, it provides inventors, research scientists, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs with an exceptional opportunity to learn about and gain first-hand experience with the process of translating ideas, discoveries and inventions from the laboratory to the marketplace.
