The First State is the best state — at least as far as internet speed and innovation go.
As reported by D.C.-based newspaper The Hill, the Consumer Electronics Association has ranked Delaware No. 1 in the country for fastest internet speed, with an average rate of 16.2 megabits per second.
As if that weren’t enough, the tech trade group went ahead and named Delaware an “Innovation Champion” along with eight other states and D.C.
“We’re excited to provide our members and the public with a multi-dimensional look at what makes a state a great home for tech products and services, companies and startups,” said CEA’s Gary Shapiro.
