SevOne — a Wilmington-based company which provides performance monitoring solutions — recently announced that Jim Melvin will become its new chief marketing officer.
Melvin, company officials said in a news release, will be responsible for the global structure, strategy and implementation of SevOne’s marketing efforts. He will report to CEO Jack Sweeney.
Melvin has held leadership and CEO roles in software, hardware and SaaS businesses. Last summer, was replaced as CEO of the Boston-based AppNeta.
“I’m thrilled to join SevOne and excited by the incredible opportunity in front of us,” Melvin said in a statement. “The rapid changes being driven by cloud, mobile, and virtualization technologies are causing challenges in the world’s most demanding service delivery environments.”
