Mouth raises $400K; BioLite launches a roadshow [Startup Roundup]

More equity sold for Mouth and BioLite's cross country road trip.

Who’s getting money?

Dumbo’s artisanal foods etailer, Mouth Foods raised, $412,000 on an offered $1 million equity only round, according to an SEC filing.

Greenpoint’s Go Grab Green LLC raised $490,000 on an offered $1.5 million, according to an SEC filing. The company lists its directors as Jessica Holsey and Emily Doubilet, so we feel confident saying that this company is the same as Susty Party, the local sustainable party goods firm that appeared on ABC’s Shark TankThe filing also squares with the numbers our post about Susty Party’s subsequent $6.25 million valuation.

We have been remiss not to point out that BioLite closed its campaign for the BaseCamp stove, breaking $1 million in pledges for a $45,000 campaign, the most successful tech campaign we have found in Brooklyn to date.

Who’s making moves?

Lyft has proposed living under the same regulatory limitations as Uber, in New York City, relying strictly on registered limos, according to DNAInfo. We visited their not-quite-a-launch party on Friday.

WeDidIt, a part of NYU’s Dumbo Incubator, will be joining the 500 Startups incubator in San Francisco for four months, according to an email from the company. The company focuses on technology that takes friction out of nonprofit fundraising, and it has 250 paying clients now.

Two staffers for BioLite are driving through twenty states in a retrofitted Japanese firetruck named “Baby” to show people how the company’s technology works.
