“GroundFloor Studios is the result of what happens when collaborative, invested, caring partners work together to address issues of inequity and provide transformative workforce opportunities for all Philadelphians,” Teri Yago-Ryan, board chair of Big Picture Alliance, said in a written statement.

GroundFloor Studios came from a partnership between Big Picture Alliance, a nonprofit that gives Philly youth opportunities to engage with filmmaking and digital media, and ChatterBlast Media, a local digital advertising agency.

“Together we can do some amazing work [to] change the direction that the arts industry is going,” said Evan Urbania, CEO of ChatterBlast Media. “I look forward to seeing a more just, more equitable, and more inclusive approach to the way we’re doing marketing and communications, not just for ChatterBlast, but for all of us.”
