VICE Media is moving its HQ to a 60,000-square-foot former industrial space at 90 N. 11th St., according to the Wall Street Journal. The company has tax incentives to increase its employment in the new location to 925 people (up from its current 400) over the next five years.
Three-quarters of its employees also live in the neighborhood, the company said.
“Brooklyn is our home and we’re already hard at work developing a freaky, space-age utopia that will give today’s creative visionaries a place to produce astonishing stories and leave their indelible thumbprint on the annals of history,” a spokesman said.
