BarCamp is back.

A standby of the tech community since 2008, the “unconference” is an event where anyone can give a talk about, well, anything. Freelancing, a passion for 3D printing, DSLR photography, you name it. The event returns to Wharton Nov. 10. Find our previous coverage of the event here and here.

Get tickets ($15/each) here.

Here’s what’s new, according to organizers Sarah Feidt, Tim Allen and JP Toto:

  • Bigger space. BarCamp has the whole forum level of Wharton’s Huntsman Hall this year, its biggest space so far, Feidt says.
  • Dedicated space to smaller, more focused groups. Feidt calls them “Catalyst Rooms,” where people can get more in-depth and focus on collaboration. She says the mission behind the catalyst rooms is to “accelerate serendipity.” These rooms will be available on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Jobs! For the first time in BarCamp Philly’s history, Feidt says recruiters will attend the event. There might even be a jobs board.

We also hear that the catering situation has improved, but Feidt says that the detail will be kept a secret until right before the event.
