“5 Years of Art on Kickstarter” is the first gallery show to open in the crowdfunding company’s new space in Greenpoint. The community first got to see it during the company’s launch block party. A more traditional art gallery opening took place last Thursday night.
The show was made up exclusively of art works funded through Kickstarter.
The show will be up through the end of June, though the gallery does not have regular hours that it is open to the public. Stephanie Periera, from the Kickstarter staff, told us that there would be a series of talks to come out of the show. The Kickstarter Tumblr may be the best place for further information about those events.
