This past weekend, DuckDuckGo CEO and founder Gabriel Weinberg hosted a “Quack and Hack,” for anyone interested in learning programming language Perl at the company’s Paoli headquarters. The goal was to learn Perl and how to use it to contribute to DuckDuckGo. Weinberg says he was happy with the event. In his own words:

We had a number of local Perl hackers and some from out of town in addition to a bunch of newcomers to Perl and/or programming. I think everyone who came learned something, so I’m calling that a success!
