The Philly tech scene is getting on Slack.
For the uninitiated, Slack is a chatroom. On Slack, users, which are often companies (Technical.ly has one) but also communities, can create different channels for different topics. It’s run by a venture-backed San Francisco company.
Philly Startup Leaders are on Slack, though it will not replace the listserv, organizers have said. It’s just another way to communicate. Check out the #help channel, where users can post questions.

The PhillyDev channel has different chatrooms for various programming frameworks and tools. Note: no recruiters allowed.
It also has a code of conduct.
