PHL Inno, the Philly branch of the national innovation network American Inno, put together its first “Inno Under 25” list for Greater Philadelphia, and five Delaware-connected entrepreneurs (representing three startups total) made the list:
- Maya Nazareth, 22, who graduated from the University of Delaware in 2020 and also works as a brand manager for the Ascendent Group in Newark, and her startup, Alchemize Fightwear, took home the big prize at Hen Hatch 2020. Alchemize Fightwear fits a specific niche, producing martial arts fightwear and self-care products designed especially for women. After rapid growth in 2020, Nazareth projects a “six figure year.”
- Daniel Goodman, 23, and Alex Pickett, 21, cofounders of Ultimate Tournament eSportsbook are a UD grad and a UD senior, respectively. They devloped a play-by-play esports betting platform that has so far raised more than $220,000 from angel investors, further reinforcing esports as the future.
- Joel Amin, 24, and Bryce Fender, 24, cofounders of Wilminvest, are past winners of Swim with the Sharks and Hen Hatch. They have housed 12 families with their social impact real estate startup, and the company recently renewed its contract with the State of Delaware. They are also graduates of UD.
We love to see it!
