Joyce Co.’s Android app, Movy, was recently highlighted by Tinsel Town or Bust, an online news site. “That personal touch is what makes the app Movy refreshing,” the site wrote. “The free Android app allows users to send video messages of any length both publicly and privately. MJ Livingston, a published author and entrepreneur, plans to create a financial literacy game and program to help students across the state. Livingston wants to use technology to help teach high school students about finances. She recently shared her plan during the Doughnuts and Demos session at The Loft, which Congressman John Carney also attended. Livingston published “Ten Commandments of Financial Awareness,” a book about personal finances. She announced via Twitter that she will be signing copies of her book from noon to 6 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Baltimore Book Festival.
