Firefly wins enterprise software competition [Startup Roundup]

Firefly and Seratis win awards, Co-Ed Supply heads to a Cincinnati accelerator and more.

WHO’S GETTING BUZZ?

Seratis, the DreamIt Health startup that’s rethinking how hospital workers communicate with each other, won second place (and $850,000) in Verizon‘s “Powerful Answers” contest, according to the company’s blog.

Firefly, the University City cobrowsing startup, was one of five winners of the Kairos Open Collaboration Challenge, an enterprise software competition. Check out Firefly’s feature on the Kairos Society blog here.

Clutch, the Ambler-based mobile shopping app, was nominated for a PayBefore award in the “Gotta-Have Mobile App” category. Vote for it here.

WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

Co-Ed Supply, the Wharton-founded subscription service for college students, completed a Cincinnati, Ohio accelerator called Brandery. It was featured in the Cincinnati Business Courier.
