No, not the holidays, but the time of year when our calendar gets a little thin as our city’s user groups pack it in for the year. However before we break for the holidays, we have one week of tech goodness.
This week: hack with Philly.rb, hang with Build Guild and step into PhillyCocoa’s office.

Philly.rb Hack Night – There’s a time for learning and a time for doing. Philly.rb focuses on the latter with its Hack Night this Monday. Bring that Ruby-based project that you’ve been meaning to get of the ground and work alongside your fellow hackers. Monday. 5:30 p.m. INFO. Rittenhouse.
Build Guild – Build Guid is perfect for a week like this, one when many people will begin winding down the week for the holiday. At Build Guild there no presentations, no lessons and no agenda. The only thing on the schedule is getting together for beers. Or, in this case, egg nog. Wednesday. 6:00 p.m. Old City. INFO.
PhillyCocoa Open Office Hours – Keeping our theme of relaxed events, join PhillyCocoa’s Office Hours at Indy Hall to have all of your Cocoa questions answered by local experts. Thursday. 6:00 p.m. Old City. INFO.
