Archna Sahay spent a short stint as the program manager for DreamIt Athena, the new women entrepreneurship program from DreamIt Ventures, but now she’s the City of Philadelphia’s Manager of Entrepreneurial Investment. That title was formerly held by Rebecca Lopez-Kriss, who’s now focused on communications for the Commerce Department.
Here’s Sahay on the gig: “The City role gives me an opportunity to serve the citizens of Philadelphia and give back to a city that has given me so much. With this role I have a larger platform to promote and secure resources for all the exciting and diverse entrepreneurial activities happening in Philadelphia, of which Athena is one.”
Sahay’s background is in the financial sector. She also founded the Female Founders Network.
Expect her to be involved with the city’s StartUp PHL initiative.
