Most Airbnb rentals in Philadelphia are illegal, but a pair of developers have decided to go by the book: they got the city’s approval to have one unit in their new apartment building be exclusively for customers of the rental startup.
Postgreen Homes and Equinox Management and Construction might have the first legal Airbnb rental in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Postgreen is the developer who’s working on the Indy Hall cohousing project, which has seen recent movement after its initial 2011 announcement.
