The Knight Arts Challenge is back and now accepting applications.
Launched in 2010, the $9 million initiative funds local arts projects. According to the Knight Foundation, the only rules are:
- Your idea is about arts.
- Your project takes place in or benefits Philadelphia.
- You find other funding to match Knight Foundation’s grant.
Apply here by midnight, Oct. 15.
Past tech community winners of the grant include:
- The Hacktory for its Corps of Interactive Artist Teachers
- Sean Stoops for Animated Architecture: 3D Video Mapping Projections on Historic Sites
- Little Berlin for Little Berlin Fairgrounds
- Fairmount Park Association for Open Air
