By most accounts, SCVNGR is among the most succesful DreamIt Ventures graduates. After leaving the incubator the company moved to Boston, home of CEO Sethย Priebatsch, where it expanded its location-based gaming and rewards application growing to over 1 million users. Since receiving $15 million from Google Ventures inย Januaryย at aย valuationย of $100 million, the company has been hard at work expanding its reach.

Its first stop? Philadelphia.
The new LevelUp application is a daily deal application that encourages customers to return to businesses where they redeem coupons to “LevelUp” for better deals. As users level up, they can receive additional rewards from SCVNGR.ย ย At the press event, SCVNGR launched using social media-friendly Northern Liberty burger joint PYT. And by sending the deal to friends, users can level up to other deals for free.
The company says it takes 25 percentย commissionย from the deals and will donate all proceeds from the first level to local charities such as Young Playwrights, Mt. Airy Learning Tree and Explorers Sansย Frontiers.
