Snapchat story leads police to car thief

The Ocean City incident began and ended at Seacrets — with one man's ill-advised Snapchat story in between.

Some news from Downy Ocean:
Police in Ocean City arrested an alleged car thief after he documented his exploits on Snapchat.
The AP reports that New York resident Brian Engelmann stole a Jeep Wrangler on Friday from outside a club called Seacrets.
Police found the car at a condo complex the next morning, but had no suspect. However, investigators soon found that the 24-year-old posted a Snapchat story of his theft and subsequent cruise down the beach town’s commercial strip.
The story also indicated he would return to Seacrets on Saturday, where police later met up with him.
Along with the theft, he was charged with traffic violations that police observed on the Snapchat story.
