Delaware’s Firefly Festival has announced its 2019 lineup – and it’s trending on Twitter, which is pretty cool.
But you might feel a bit differently if you’re a fan of the Joss Whedon sci-fi Western also called “Firefly.” You know, the one that got cancelled on Fox sometime in the aughts and was saved by the sheer power of its fans’ love.
Those fans didn’t take it well when they saw “Firefly” trending and found out it was just a crummy music festival in Delaware.
please don't name your things firefly. I just had a heart attack before the crippling disappointment pic.twitter.com/yE1L2zWj6p

When you see Firefly trending and you think you’re about to get a reboot you can get behind, but it’s just a music festival pic.twitter.com/hKeXtm0JNg

Anyway.
The Firefly Festival, held at The Woodlands in Dover June 21-23, is going to be headlined by Panic! At The Disco, Travis Scott and, yes, Post Malone, along with dozens of other bands.
