This weekend: Open Shop Sunday with Barrel of Makers

Is utilizing your creative skills a part of your new year’s resolution? Well, Open Shop Sunday is the perfect way to get involved. Barrel of Makers is hosting this event yet again at their Highlands Art Garage on 17th Street with a woodshop safety and orientation session right before. So if you’ve never been, it might be a good idea to get there a little early around 11 a.m.
BoM expanded to its second location, the Highlands Art Garage, early last year. The organization is also looking to hire instructors, so if you’ve got something to share, it might be a good idea to look into the application process and attend the instructor workshop next week as well.
