The National Union Building, located at 918 F St. NW in Penn Quarter, which formerly housed LivingSocial’s event space, will be converted into “one of the largest dining establishments in the District,” the Washington Post reports. Yum.

It will feature a handful of “pop-up” restaurants that rotate through the 17,000-square-foot venue each month.
New chefs. New menus. New décor. Every month.
“We’re going to turn that building into a culinary destination,” creator Johann Moonesinghe said.

The basement and four flours will be subleased by Moonesinghe, the cofounder of a local crowdfunding platform for restaurants called EquityEats. The landlord hasn’t approved the plan yet, the Post reports.
