Three Brooklynites are featured on Forbes‘ annual 30 Under 30 list this year.

Sean Petterson, cofounder and CEO of StrongArm Technologies made the list under the Manufacturing and Industry category. Petterson’s company, based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, makes gear to help lessen the strain of physical labor for workers. We profiled the company last summer and Petterson is one of the nominees this year in our own Brooklyn Innovation Awards for Scientist of the Year.

Quardean Lewis-Allen made the list under the category of Social Entrepreneurs. The founder and CEO of Made in Brownsville, Lewis-Allen “started a creative agency to combat the high levels of unemployment and lack of education of young people in his neighborhood,” according to Forbes.

Rhonesha Byng, founder and CEO of Her Agenda, made the list under the Media category. Her Agenda is “a digital media platform working to bridge the gap between ambition and achievement for millennial women,” according to the site.
